Brief description
The tour starts in Metepec (near Toluca) at Activentura’s
office, located at 2,600 meters above seal level.
The ride is never ending through the forest and the
air is at pure as it can be.
The trails and dirt roads are a combination of easy
and challenging terrain with a variety of rocks, sand
and tree roots. During the dry season it is dusty, and
during the rainy season, some spots can be muddy, but
nothing too bad considering we’re on volcanic
ground.
You will take the most scenic trails to reach the inside
of the crater, at 4,200 meters, where we find the lagoons
“El Sol” and “La Luna”. After
the tree line, we will find very unique scenery, desolate
and beautiful with plenty of time to take photos.
As we approach the top of the mountain, weather permitting,
you will see the volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccíhuatl.
This tour is a favorite!

Nevado de Toluca – Valle de Bravo

95% of the tour is on off-road trails

Brief description
The tour starts in Metepec (near Toluca) at Activentura’s
office, located at 2,600  meters
above seal level. We will ride straight to the crater
of the Nevado de Toluca at 4,200 meters and then head
down towards Valle de Bravo.
If you think that going to Valle de Bravo on the road
is fun, just wait till you do it off-road!
You will go trough the most beautiful forests and cross
the most spectacular valleys to reach our final destination
at 1,900 meters.
You will ride in all kinds of terrain.

and tree roots. During the dry season it is dusty, and
during the rainy season, it gets slippery and muddy
in some areas. If you are in shape, this is the tour
for you!
 
 
Registration
Fill out our registration form and deposit the full
amount of the cost of the tour in the bank whose information
is provided on the registration form. Send your registration
form by fax or email
Once we receive your registration form and proof of
payment, we will send you a confirmation letter by email.
You will be reimbursed the full amount should Activentura
cancel the tour for reasons beyond our control. Please
notify us with 48 hours if you wish to change the date
of your tour, otherwise you may lose your deposit.
Preparation is important
If you are participating with your own bike, it’s
important to check it beforehand. Check the motor, brakes,
tires, etc. in order to avoid problems during the tour.
